Subhash Ghai's company Mukta Arts has long been giving new directors a chance to make films. Mukta Arts' journey from Mukul S Anand's 'Trimurti' to Ram Ramesh Sharma's '36 Farmhouse' is no less than a film in itself. It has been eight years since Subhash Ghai, who was called the second show man of Hindi cinema after Raj Kapoor, himself distanced from directing. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is now the new show man.

The new film '36 Farmhouse' by Mukta Arts, which produced his last film with Sooraj Pancholi as producers, stars Vijay Raj and Sanjay Mishra. On an interesting story, if the script had been written well, the case could have been like 'Victoria No. 203' but the film's screenplay and its direction are both of a second standard. Both Sanjay Mishra and Vijay Raj are victims of overacting. Both of them are yet to understand that their fans are definitely in lakhs but they are fans of their acting and not their names. After Sanjay Mishra and Vijay Raj, Ashwini Kalsekar has also not reduced overacting. After reaching Amol Parashar's bungalow, the film looks a bit bright, but by then the audience's enthusiasm to watch the film has cooled down.

Music has been the strongest aspect of Subhash Ghai's films as a director. It will not be an exaggeration if it is said that every time the music of his films did the real work in getting his films a bang opening. But, now he is following Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Like him, he himself is composing music. There is no competition between the two. If Ghai wants to try to keep himself in competition with Bhansali, then it is his own choice. The film is also a very weak film technically. Watching the film is like a Mahaepisode of a TV serial. The background music, editing and cinematography of the film are also not worth mentioning separately.

36 Farmhouse produced by Subhash Ghai will soon release on ZEE5. The film is a family drama directed by Ram Ramesh Sharma. It stars Amol Parashar, Sanjay Mishra, Flora Saini and Ashwini Kalsekar in lead roles. Subhash has written the story and composed the music.
